Rusty's World

Rusty’s Reading List 2019 | July 1, 2019

Our friend Avery is staying with us for the long weekend and she brought a book for me to read, because she wanted to talk about it.
I can see why.
Both why she wanted to talk about it and why she wanted me to read it without telling me anything, because this is a book (a novella, really), that should be read without and preconceived notions. (Kind of like The Fifth Season, I read a few books ago… though they are very different.)

Because of this, I can’t say much about it here, other than that I liked it quite a bit, and that it is a quick read. (It is pretty short.)

I do have a non-spoiler thing… I wish I had a better idea what – or more precisely, why – the Mother Machine is. I understand generally, bit it is the rare case where I would like more specifics to make how I mentally put together the rest of the book in my head.
